White Puerto Ricans or European Puerto Ricans are Puerto Ricans whose ancestry is predominantly of European descent most notably from Spain (including Canary and Balearic Islands) and Corsica but also Italy (including Sardinia) Metropolitan France Germany Ireland and Scotland.As of 2013 people of solely European descent constituted the majority in Puerto Rico making up 76.2% of the population.
