White Haitians are Haitians whose ancestry lies within the continent of Europe.White Haitians are descendants of 20th century immigrants. Most French colonists died or fled Saint-Domingue during the Haitian Revolution and the surviving remainder were annihilated in the 1804 Haiti Massacre. Prior the United States occupation of Haiti both the Haitian citizenship and the right to purchase land or any property was vetoed to white people.
