The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Верховна Рада України; literally Supreme Council of Ukraine formerly also translated as the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine) often simply Verkhovna Rada or just Rada is Ukraine’s parliament. The Verkhovna Rada is a unicameral parliament composed of 450 deputies which is presided over by a chairman (speaker).
