The All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda (Ukrainian: Всеукраїнське об’єднання «Свобода» Vseukrayinske obyednannia Svoboda) translated as Freedom is a Ukrainian nationalist political party and currently one of the five major parties of the country. Three members of the party hold positions in Ukraine’s government.The party was founded in 1991 as the Social-National Party of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Соціал-національна партія України) and acts as a populist proponent of nationalism and anti-communism.
