Batkivshchyna or the All-Ukrainian Union Fatherland (Ukrainian: Всеукраїнське об’єднання Батьківщина Vseukrayins’ke Obyednannya Bat’kivshchyna) is a political party in Ukraine led by Yulia Tymoshenko.As the core party of the former Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc Batkivshchyna has had representation in the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine’s parliament) since Yulia Tymoshenko set up the parliamentary faction Batkivshchyna in March 1999.
