Sabich (Hebrew: סביח‎ [saˈbiχ]) is an Israeli sandwich consisting of pita stuffed with fried eggplant and hard boiled eggs. Local consumption is said to have stemmed from a tradition among Mizrahi Jews who ate it on Shabbat morning.
