Dr. Zara Carmichael (née Alex Grey) is a fictional character in the BBC soap opera Doctors played by Elisabeth Dermot-Walsh. She made her first appearance on 4 June 2009. Since her arrival the character has been involved in a number of different storylines including being kidnapped and having an affair with Jack Hollins (Nicolas Woodman) pregnancy and her relationship with Daniel Granger (Matthew Chambers).
