The following is a list of characters who first appeared in the BBC soap opera Doctors in 2012 by order of first appearance. All characters are introduced by the series’ producer Peter Eryl Lloyd. The first main character to be introduced was Mandy Marquez a love interest for Freya Wilson and Akono Mezu a student who moves in with Mrs Tembe. February saw the introductions of Malcolm and Paula Malone and Franklyn Ward who arrive for the wedding of Cherry and Jimmi Clay.
