The Yamaguchi Dam is a concrete-face rock-fill dam on the Haba River a tributary of the Irtysh River in Habahe County of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China. The primary purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power generation flood control and water supply for civil and irrigation use. It supports a 25.2 MW power station. Construction on the 40.5 m (133 ft) tall dam began in October 1992 and its reservoir began to fill on 30 December 1996.
