William Russell Houck (b. July 26 1926) is an American Roman Catholic bishop.Born in Mobile Alabama Houck was ordained a priest on May 19 1951 for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mobile. On March 28 1979 he was named titular bishop of Alexanum and auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Jackson. On April 11 1984 Houck was appointed bishop of the Jackson Diocese and was installed on June 5 1984. On January 3 2003 Houck retired.
