White Caymanians or European Caymanians are Caymanians whose ancestry lies within the continent of Europe.As of 2013 people of solely European descent are a minority ethnic group in the Cayman Islands accounting for 20% of the country’s population. They have significant interests in the financial and commercial sectors of the economy. They are primarily of English Scottish and Irish ancestry.
