Afro-Caymanians or Black Caymanians are Caymanians whose ancestry lies within the continent of Africa most notably West Africa.As of 2013 people of solely African descent are a minority ethnic group in the Cayman Islands accounting for 20% of the country’s population. An additional 40% of the country is multiracial predominantly of mixed black African and white European descent.
