Vadai (Tamil:வடை Kannada: ವಡೆ Telugu: వడ Tulu: ವಡೆ Malayalam: വട Sinhala: වඩේ Oriya: ବରା) also known as wada or vade or vadai or bara (pronounced vah-daa vah-dey baraa or vah-die) is a savoury fritter-type snack from South India.
