The 1960 United States presidential election in New York took place on November 8 1960. All 50 states were part of the 1960 United States presidential election. New York voters chose forty five electors to the Electoral College which selected the President and Vice President.New York was won by Democratic Senator John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts who was running against incumbent Republican Vice President Richard Nixon.
