The men’s 4×200 metre freestyle relay event at the 2000 Summer Olympics took place on 19 September at the Sydney International Aquatic Centre in Sydney Australia.After defeating the Americans to capture the 4×100 m freestyle relay title four days earlier the Australians added another relay gold medal to their hardware in the event by the delight of a raucous home crowd.
