Soumya Swaminathan (born 21 March 1989) is a chess player and Woman Grandmaster from India. In November 2009 she won the World Junior Chess Championship (for women under 20) held in Argentina with 9½/13 winning on tie-break.In January 2011 she won the 2011 Indian Women Chess Championship scoring 8½/11.
