Santiago Metro Line 6 is a new line due to open on the Santiago Metro Santiago Chile in 2016. It will connect the commune of Cerrillos in the south west of the city with the centre and east of the city where most economic activity is concentrated. The first stage is set to be completed by 2016 with the whole line to be finished by 2017.
