Santiago Metro Line 3 is a new line due to open on the Santiago Metro Santiago Chile in 2018. It will connect the commune of Huechuraba in the north of the city with the city centre where most economic activity is concentrated and the centre with the communes of Ñuñoa La Reina and Peñalolén in the west side of Santiago. The first stage is set to be completed by 2017 with the whole line to be finished by 2018. It will have 19 new stations on 22 km of track.
