Richard Allen Lazzara (born 1945 in Tampa Florida). Lazzara is currently a judge for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. It should also be noted he was in Private Practice from 1974 – 1986. He served on the 13th Judicial Circuit of Florida from 1988–1993 and Appellate judge for the Second District Court of Appeal of Florida from 1993 – 1997. In 1997 he was appointed by President Bill Clinton to serve as a United States District Judge.
