Pridi Banomyong (Thai: ปรีดี พนมยงค์; RTGS: Pridi Phanomyong; May 11 1900 – May 2 1983) was a Thai politician. He was a Prime Minister and senior statesman of Thailand and was named one of the world’s great personalities of the 20th century by UNESCO in 2000.
