Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) is a rapid transit railroad serving Newark Harrison Hoboken and Jersey City in metropolitan northern New Jersey and Manhattan in New York City. It is operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.PATH trains run 24 hours a day and is one of only five mass-transit rail lines in the United States to do so (the others being the PATCO Speedline the Red and Blue Lines of the Chicago ‘L’ the Staten Island Railway and the New York City Subway).
