Pomegranate soup is a Persian and Mesopotamian dish (āsh) made from pomegranate juice and seeds yellow split peas mint leaves spices and other ingredients. It is called Āsh-e anār in Iran (Persian: آش انار; Azerbaijani: انار آشی) and Shorbat Rumman in Iraq.
