A Pink Wafer is a wafer based confectionery originating in the United Kingdom. It was originally made by Edinburgh’s Crawfords Biscuits and is now made by United Biscuits the company that took over the firm in 1960 still using the Crawfords name. The snack consists of crème sandwiched between wafers (dyed pink). The biscuit is controversial as some consider it to be a cake this has caused conflict similar to that related to the Jaffa Cake.
