Nguyễn Hữu Việt (October 1 1988 in Thuy Nguyen Haiphong) is a Vietnamese swimmer who specialized in breaststroke events. He had won a total of five medals (three golds one silver and one bronze) and set numerous records for both the 100 and 200 m breaststroke at the Southeast Asian Games (2003–2009).Nguyen made his official debut as a 15-year-old the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens where he competed in the men’s 100 m breaststroke.
