Nauman Steele Scott II (June 15 1916 – September 19 2001) was a Republican-appointed federal judge in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana who served from 1970 until his death in 2001.In 1980 he ordered cross-parish busing guidelines to foster racial balance in Rapides Parish public schools.
