Müeslix is a Kellogg’s brand packaged dry muesli mixture. When it was first marketed in Canada in the late-1980s Kellogg’s named it Müsli and attempted to trademark the name but the trademark was successfully challenged as the term had pre-existed in German for over eighty years. Müeslix is the compromise name.
