Mick O’Connell (born 4 January 1937 on Valentia Island County Kerry) is a former Irish sportsperson. He played Gaelic football with his local clubs Young Islanders and Waterville and was a member of the Kerry senior inter-county team from 1956 until 1973. O’Connell is regarded as one of the greatest players of all-time.
