Martin O’Connell (born 29 August 1963 in Carlanstown County Meath) is an Irish former sportsperson. He played Gaelic football with his local club St. Michael’s and was a member of the Meath senior inter-county team from 1984 util 1997. O’Connell is regarded as one of the greatest players of all-time.In a senior inter-county career that spanned two decades O’Connell won every honour in the game at senior level.
