Maltose crackers is a traditional and popular food in Hong Kong. Some sweet maltose mixed with two salty soda crackers. Maltose crackers became popular in early Hong Kong (50s-60s). At the beginning people tend to use ‘counter trade’ to get the maltose crackers. Nowadays people would like to buy it or even make it by themselves because now is difficult to find maltose crackers.
