Early mayoral and city council elections (Ukrainian: Дотермінові вибори до київської міської ради (2008) were contested in the Ukrainian capital Kiev (Kyiv) on May 25 2008. The snap election was called by the Ukrainian parliament the Verkhovna Rada by a 246-5 vote on March 18 amid corruption allegations involving the incumbent Mayor Leonid Chernovetskyi.
