Karen Shepherd (born July 5 1940) is a former Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Utah.She graduated from the University of Utah in 1962 with a B.A. and Brigham Young University in 1963 with a M.A. and served in the Utah State Senate for the 1st Senate District from 1991 to 1992. She was elected to Congress in 1993 and represented Utah’s 2nd district from January 3 1993 until January 3 1995.
