John Hart Terry (November 14 1924 – October 20 2001) was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from New York.Terry was born in Syracuse New York and graduated from Most Holy Rosary in 1941. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1945 and received a law degree from Syracuse University in 1948. He served in the United States Army from 1943 until 1946 and received a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart for his service during World War II.
