José de Jesús Madera Uribe (b. November 27 1927) is an American Roman Catholic bishop.Born in San Francisco California Madera Uribe was ordained a priest for the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit on June 15 1957. On December 18 1979 he was appointed coadjutor of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fresno and was ordained bishop on March 4 1980. He succeeed as bishop of the diocese on June 1 1980. On May 28 1991 he appointed to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese for the Military Services USA.
