Fritule also called Uštipci is a festive Croatian pastry resembling little doughnuts made particularly for Christmas. They are somewhat similar to Italian zeppole and venetian Frìtole but are usually flavored with brandy and citrus zest containing raisins and are topped with powdered sugar.
