Fiumi di parole (Rivers of words) is a song by Italian duo Jalisse made up of Alessandra Drusian and Fabio Ricci. The song was the winner of the Sanremo Music Festival in Sanremo Italy and later went on to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 in Dublin Ireland being the last Italian entry in the contest for over a decade.The song is a dramatic ballad in which the lead singer tells her lover that rivers of words have come between them.
