Felipe Muñoz Kapamas (born February 3 1951 in Mexico City Mexico) is an Olympic champion breaststroke swimmer from Mexico and as of 2008 is the President of the Mexican Olympic Committee. Muñoz swam for Mexico at the 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics. At the 1968 Olympics he won the Men’s 200m Breaststroke in front of a wildly cheering crowd.Muñoz is of Greek descent on his mother’s side.His nickname is el tibio which means lukewarm in Spanish.
