Erik K. Vendt (born January 9 1981) is an American former competition swimmer. He won a silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Olympics. In 2001 he won the silver medal in the 400-meter individual medley at the 2001 World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka Japan.Named 2002 NCAA Swimmer of the Year after winning the 1650-yard freestyle and 400-yard individual medley and placing second in the 500-yard freestyle.
