The Diocese of Skara is a diocese of the Church of Sweden (the Lutheran former state church of Sweden) with its seat at Skara in Västergötland (Skara Cathedral). Before the Protestant reformation it was a diocese of the Roman Catholic church and it is the oldest existing diocese in Sweden.
