The Department of Main Roads is a former department of the Government of Queensland. Its role was to plan design build and maintain the 34000 km of Queensland state-controlled roads under the Minister for Local Government and Main Roads. Warren Pitt was the final Minister for Local Government and Main Roads before a restructuring took place in 2009.
