Daniel Dan Shanahan (born 4 January 1977) is an Irish hurler who played as a centre-forward for the Waterford senior team. Born in Lismore County Waterford Shanahan arrived on the inter-county scene when he first linked up with the Waterford minor team before later joining the under-21 side. He joined the senior team in 1995 but didn’t make his debut until the 1998 championship.
