Cornish Americans are Americans who describe themselves as having Cornish ancestry. Cornish ancestry is not recognised on the United States Census although the Cornish people are recognised as a separate ethnic group and national identity for the United Kingdom Census. There are estimated to be close to 2 million people of Cornish descent in the U.S.
