Cajuns (/ˈkeɪdʒən/; French: les Cadiens or les Acadiens [le kadjɛ̃ lez‿akadjɛ̃]) are an ethnic group mainly living in the U.S. state of Louisiana consisting of the descendants of Acadian exiles (French-speakers from Acadia in what are now the Maritimes).
