Archibald Archie Brooks is a fictional character from the British soap opera Emmerdale portrayed by Tony Pitts. Archie was first described as a layabout but eventually turned into a loveable and caring individual. He had a ten-year span on the show between 1983 and 1993. He was one of the victims of the famous Emmerdale plane crash.
