Albert Arthur Chambers (June 22 1906–1993) was the seventh bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Springfield serving from 1962 to 1972. Chambers was born in Cleveland OH and educated at Hobart College and prepared for ordination at the General Theological Seminary New York. Prior to his consecration as bishop he served as Canon of St. Paul’s Cathedral Buffalo NY; Rector of St. Thomas Church in Neenah-Menasha Wisconsin Rector of St. Peter’s Church Auburn N.Y.
