9594 Garstang (provisional designation: 1991 RG) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Robert H. McNaught at the Siding Spring Observatory in Canberra Australia on September 4 1991. It is named after Roy Henry Garstang an astronomer and member of the faculty of the University of London Observatory and the University of Colorado at Boulder.
