9227 Ashida (provisional designation: 1996 BO2) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Takao Kobayashi at the Ōizumi Observatory in Ōizumi Gunma Prefecture Japan on January 26 1996. It is named for Masafumi Ashida a Japanese elementary-school educator and amateur astronomer.
