31196 Yulong (provisional designation: 1997 YL18) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered through the Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program at the Xinglong Station in the Yan Mountains of China on December 24 1997. It is named after the Yulong Naxi Autonomous County of China.
