24985 Benuri (provisional designation: 1998 KW45) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by the Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research project in Socorro New Mexico on May 22 1998. It is named after Benjamin Uri Hoffman (b. 1991) an American high school student whose microbiology project won first place at the 2008 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. He received his B.S.
