24974 Macúch (provisional designation: 1998 HG3) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Peter Kolény and Leonard Kornoš at the Modra Observatory in Modra Slovakia on April 21 1998. It is named after Rudolf Macúch a Slovak orientalist and humanist of the 20th century.
