The 2013–14 season is Maribor’s 54th season of football and its 23rd consecutive season in the Slovenian PrvaLiga Slovenian top division since the league was created in 1991 with Maribor as one of the league’s founding members. Before the start of the 2013–14 season Croatian manager Ante Čačić replaced Darko Milanič as the head coach at the club.
